Certified Dealer Network

Over the last five years the Herman Miller Affiliated Dealer Network has expanded to 58 dealer members with locations in over 100 cities in the United States and Canada, one member per market area. This certified network of Web-connected dealers is committed to provide major customers with a full spectrum of furniture-related services.

Some of the Network's capabilities reside in common/shared Service Management Tools. ServiceNet is an Affiliated Network Tool through which Network members can quote, authorize and track inter-market projects. Another is our Asset and Inventory Management tool (AIM), which is web-based and SIF compatible. This provides our Network with the comprehensive ability to manage customer's assets locally or at multiple locations throughout the Network.

While the tools link our Network members, the real strength of the Network rests with over 4000 employees dedicated to achieving compliance to our Network's "Certification Program." This program outlines the strategies, processes and programs that provide the foundation for a true Network.

We also measure and manage improvement of customer satisfaction levels and share operational information to continuously improve capabilities and operational performance. Our Network's capacity, capabilities, and service tools provide Herman Miller with a clear competitive advantage.

To realize our vision of the ideal Network, each Network member has committed to the belief that the customer is best served when all parties assume the same level of ownership and responsibility to maintain our customer relationships.

The Members of the Affiliated Network, along with the Herman Miller Distribution Team, developed the service tools in a collaborative fashion by providing best-practice information, dedicated professional expertise, and funding to support the development and deployment of these tools.
